Fees due at registration:

• $125 registration fee per child, non-refundable.
• $250 preschool tuition deposit per child per class to be applied to tuition, non-refundable.
• $500 tuition deposit per K-6 child, non-refundable.

Extended Care: 2008 rates will be available before registration. Plans include block time, calendar, and drop-in.

Enrollment Fees due June 1, non-refundable:

• Preschool: $75
• K-5: $275
• Middle School: $575

• Application Fee is $35 for new Kindergarten – Grade 5 and
  $100 for Grades 6-8.
• Late charges of $20 for the first day and $1 per day thereafter will be charged for fees arriving after June 5, 2008, and paperwork arriving after July 15, 2008. For other late charges not related to registration, see fee sheet.
• Lost Packet Fee $25
• Preschool Class Change Fee $25
• Tuition may be paid annually in advance.
• Participation Policy: GSLS requires 25 participation hours per family per school year. We make every effort to make hours easy to fulfill. However, if a family chooses not to participate, a payment of $24 per hour to a maximum of $600 will be accepted in lieu of time.

Other information

• Returning families must be current on their accounts before registering.
• Children entering 3’s and above must be toilet trained.
• Preschoolers will be registered by age level and for MWF or TTh. If there is more than one class offered per age level, the school will assign children to classes based upon the best benefit to the child. If there is a compelling reason to make a request, please let us know in writing.
• Teachers have not yet been assigned or contracted, so no assurances can be given about teachers in any given class.
• All new students (including siblings) are conditionally accepted pending interview and application review.
• K-6 enrollees may also register preschool siblings at the priority registration time. However, if you withdraw your K-6 child at a later date, your preschooler will lose priority registration status and be placed on the waitlist for that class.
• A limited amount of financial aid is available for elementary families who demonstrate serious need. Subsidy request forms can be obtained from the school office and need to be submitted prior to registration.
• Reminder: all fees due June 1 are non-refundable.
• Registered, participating members of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church are eligible to apply annually for priority registration and discount. Requirements include; exclusive membership by at least one parent, regular attendance and consistent financial support of the church. If you think you may be eligible, ask for an application at the school office.
