Dana Wieser
Kindergarten Teacher
Dana received her BA from Sonoma State University and her teaching credential from Dominican College. She has been teaching for 15 years; the last 8 years have been at Good Shepherd in Kindergarten. She is married and has two children. She was drawn to Good Shepherd by the nurturing and supportive environment her son received when he started in the 3's program. A year later, Dana and her younger son started attending Good Shepherd and they have loved being a part of this wonderful program since.
Outside of working with 5 and 6 year olds, Dana enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and taking day trips with family and friends. She loves the sense of motivation and enthusiasm that she experiences with the children in her class on a daily basis. Each morning, she is greeted by her students with smiling faces, eager to learn and always willing to try. This, compiled with an extremely supportive staff and families, makes each day great. She feels fortunate to have this blessing in her life.
