Krista Martinussen
Middle School Physical Education Teacher
Krista Martinussen has been working in education in various capacities since 2001. She received her B.A. in Psychology from San Francisco State and holds single subject teaching credentials in Health Science, P.E., and Psychology. Krista currently teaches 6th grade Earth Science, 6-8th grade Physical Education and 6-8th grade Health. She is very passionate about health and fitness and believes it is important for all middle school students in their maturation and journey towards individuation and adulthood.
Krista was previously a counselor and a teacher for troubled youth, which has made her a more versatile, well-rounded teacher. She believes in student-centered teaching, with an emphasis on complete inclusion for all students. Krista resides in Sonoma County with her husband.
