Valerie Healey
Preschool 2’s Class
Valerie has been with Good Shepherd since the fall of 1984 and has taught in the 2’s, 3’s, and 4’s classes. Additionally, she has worked in the extended care program for both preschool and elementary grades. Her education is in Early Childhood Education and she received a preschool teacher credential from the state of California.
Valerie says, “Our preschool gave all six of my children an excellent start to their education because they learned not only about colors, shapes, and counting, they also learned about loving one another as God loves us.” This lesson is what guides all of her teaching at Good Shepherd and is reflected back to her from all the beautiful young faces it is her pleasure to teach every day.
